From September 28th to October 1st 2024, the StoCare team headed up North to Glasgow in Scotland to attend the 2024 ASCN (Association of Stoma Care Nurses) UK conference, this year hosted in collaboration with the World Council of Enterostomal Therapists. The theme was “Weaving Culture & Expertise to Offer the Best Patient Care” and it certainly delivered.
It was fascinating to explore how stoma care varies around the world while also recognising the common challenges stoma care professionals face. The conference provided an invaluable platform to share ideas, swap stories, exchange best practices, and work together towards improving patient outcomes.
We were proud to exhibit our products alongside other fantastic brands, all focused on delivering the best care for stoma patients. The exhibition floor was a hive of activity, brimming with the latest advancements in stoma care. We were especially proud to launch Ostoform’s Two-Piece Pouching System in the UK, featuring the innovative FLOWASSIST technology, a groundbreaking solution designed to enhance comfort and support for ostomates. All in all, the ASCN event reminded us why we do what we do. We left Glasgow inspired, energised, and committed to continuing our mission of delivering innovative, high-quality products that improve life for ostomates while supporting the NHS.
